Villa Cristina 17 - Pool & 10 Min Walk From Beach Albufeira

Our trip to Albufeira, Portugal, was an experience filled with both ups and downs. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely and clean villa, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our ten-day visit. The villa had a wonderful air conditioning system, which kept us comfortable during the warm days, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed for restful nights. The pool was a highlight; although it was beautifully maintained and the perfect size for relaxing or a refreshing swim, we encountered a minor inconvenience as it lacked a handrail for easy access.

While the villa's charm was undeniable, there were a few drawbacks that made our stay less than perfect. The low and uncomfortable sofa made it difficult for us to unwind together after a long day of exploring, limiting our options for a cozy nighttime retreat. Additionally, the hot water in the showers took an unusually long time to warm up, which was a bit frustrating considering the overall comfort the villa provided. Even with these minor inconveniences, we found ourselves appreciating the surrounding area, which felt safe and private, adding to the overall appeal of our stay.

Despite the drawbacks, the positive aspects of our trip far outweighed the negatives. The villa's layout included a shaded sitting area around the pool, providing a delightful mix of sun and shade for relaxation. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, which made meal preparation a breeze, and the barbecue area was a fun addition for al fresco dining. A thoughtful gesture from our host upon arrival was a big bottle of water and some ice cream, which was a refreshing treat. Ultimately, our time in Albufeira was marked by comfortable beds, a serene environment, and the beauty of the area, making it a memorable getaway.
