Villa Brigida Albufeira

Our trip to Albufeira, Portugal, was a mixed experience, highlighted by both the stunning beauty of the location and a few inconveniences during our stay. One notable downside was the pool, which was only cleaned on Friday, despite our mid-week booking. This left us feeling a bit uneasy about swimming in it during the week, as we prefer a fresher, cleaner pool environment for our leisure. However, this was a minor setback compared to the overall charm of our accommodation.

The positives truly outweighed the negatives, with the property's prime location providing breathtaking uninterrupted sea views from the terrace. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, soaking up those stunning views, and the small beach within walking distance featured a delightful café and a couple of mini markets for our convenience. The spacious interior was a welcome retreat after long days of exploration, with comfortable beds and air conditioning in the bedrooms ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a large BBQ by the pool, was perfect for cooking, although having a car to access larger and more affordable supermarkets was essential to fully enjoying the convenience of our stay. Overall, Albufeira offered a delightful blend of natural beauty and comfort, making it a memorable getaway despite the few hiccups we encountered.
