Our trip to Albufeira, Portugal, had its share of ups and downs, particularly regarding the apartment we rented. While it was spacious enough for our group of four and included essential amenities like an iron, adequate crockery, and functional air conditioning, there were some drawbacks that slightly hampered our experience. During our one cooking session, we found ourselves missing basic kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, and olive oil, which made preparing meals less enjoyable. The apartment's fridge was on the smaller side, and although the clothes rack was usable, it was not in the best condition. Additionally, the absence of a washing machine within the apartment was a minor inconvenience, though we heard there might be a laundry room available in the building. Most notably, the beds and mattresses left much to be desired in terms of comfort, affecting our rest during the stay.

On the positive side, the apartment’s location was ideal for exploring the Algarve, being centrally situated next to a supermarket with ample parking available. The environment was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the reliable internet connection for planning our daily adventures. The property also featured a lovely pool, which added an enjoyable element to our downtime. Overall, despite some comfort challenges, the spaciousness and convenience of our Albufeira apartment, coupled with its strategic location for accessing the region, contributed positively to our trip experience.
