Our trip to Albufeira, Portugal, was a delightful experience that brought together the perfect fusion of relaxation and fun. The villa we stayed in exceeded all expectations, boasting cleanliness and comfort that made us feel right at home. Each of the large bedrooms came with its own en-suite bathroom, a luxury that ensured privacy for everyone in our party. While we encountered a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the lack of air conditioning in the basement games area and the quirky location of the fifth bedroom, these small inconveniences did little to detract from our overall enjoyment. The space we had allowed us to share memorable moments while providing the necessary comforts for a splendid vacation.

The villa's amenities truly made our stay unforgettable. The squash court, rather unusual yet thrillingly placed in the middle of the house, became a significant hit with the younger members of our group. Although the large family room in the basement was inviting, the heat unfortunately kept us from utilizing it to its full potential. However, when it came to relaxation, the swimming pool area was nothing short of a dream. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, taking advantage of the comfortable loungers and the shaded seating. The added bonus of a ping pong table, darts, and a badminton court beside the pool ensured that there was always something engaging to do, creating an atmosphere of enjoyment and camaraderie.

In terms of location, the villa's central setting could not have been better. We loved how within a leisurely 15-minute walk, we could reach the marina and, in another five minutes, the charm of Albufeira's old town. Although the town is quite hilly, we found it easy to navigate by using Uber or Bolt for our return trips; the cost was remarkably budget-friendly, with all journeys costing us £5 or less. For our grocery needs, both Aldi and Lidl were just a short 10-minute taxi ride away, allowing us to stock our villa with everything we desired. All in all, our trip was filled with beautiful memories, fun activities, and a wonderful place to unwind—Albufeira quickly stole a piece of our hearts.
