Albufeira, Portugal, is truly a hidden gem, especially for those seeking a blend of both old-world charm and modern attractions. Our recent trip highlighted the friendly atmosphere and the fantastic location of our accommodations, situated conveniently between the lively new town and the historical old town. While the rooms felt a tad dated, they offered all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Positioned on the -2 floor, our doors opened directly onto the cozy pool area, which, although small, was perfect for a quick dip before heading out. The afternoons by the pool were especially enjoyable, soaking up the sun and relaxing in the serene setting.
Each day, we opted to visit the stunning beaches nearby, easily accessible and inviting, with reasonable rental prices for sun loungers - just €12 for two, which included complimentary WiFi. This made beach days even more enjoyable, allowing us to stay connected while soaking in the sun. Albufeira's vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality made our trip memorable, and despite the slightly dated feel of our accommodations, we could not help but fall in love with the area. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning to this beautiful resort again, where the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration awaits!
