Casas Barulho Apartments Old Town Albufeira

Our trip to Albufeira, Portugal, was an unforgettable experience filled with both relaxing moments and a sprinkle of adventure. We stayed in a spacious apartment that boasted a fantastic and sunny roof terrace, providing us with breathtaking views of Albufeira. It quickly became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, situated just a short 10-minute walk from the vibrant old town and the stunning beaches. For those considering this destination, it’s worth noting that while the walk is relatively pleasant, there is a steep hill at the end that might pose a challenge for some.

While the apartment had much to offer, there was a small downside regarding the swimming pool area. It would have been nice to have more sunbeds available for lounging and enjoying the warm Portuguese sun. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dive, but it wasn’t the most conducive space for relaxing and soaking up the tranquility we were hoping for. Nevertheless, this minor drawback did little to dampen our spirits as we spent the majority of our time exploring the local sights and gathering by our rooftop terrace.

Communication with our host was seamless and incredibly friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed throughout our stay. Traveling with four friends made the experience even more special; we had ample space to enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. Albufeira itself was filled with charm and character, and as we ventured into the old town for dinner and nightlife, we created memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, our trip was a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation, and we would gladly return to this beautiful corner of Portugal again.
