Casa Mar Praia Dos Pescadores By Alzira Albufeira

My recent trip to Albufeira, Portugal was a mix of excitement and disappointment. Upon arrival, I noticed a strange odor in the apartment, which seemed to be masked by an overpowering scent of cleaning products. After a bit of investigation, I discovered mold lurking in one of the cupboards, prompting me to check out sooner than planned. Unfortunately, even though we didn't stay for two nights, we were only refunded for one, leaving a bitter taste amidst the beautiful backdrop of Albufeira. To add to this discomfort, the verandah was directly on the street, devoid of any privacy, making it hard to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The central location, while originally appealing, came with its own set of challenges. The downstairs bedroom window opened directly onto a busy street, complete with a nearby bus stop, resulting in constant noise that disrupted our peace during the night. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The outdoor barbecue, which was something we had looked forward to using, was in terrible condition and not up to the standards we expected. All these factors contributed to a less-than-ideal accommodation experience.

On the brighter side, our host was extremely responsive, which helped alleviate some concerns. When we arrived and discovered that the WiFi was not functioning, the host attended to the issue immediately, demonstrating good communication skills throughout our stay. It was nice to feel that our concerns were heard and addressed. Despite the beautiful beaches and vibrant atmosphere that Albufeira has to offer, the accommodation experience left something to be desired, impacting our overall enjoyment of the trip.
