Impressions
My trip to Albufeira, Portugal, in early April was a mixed bag. The weather was a bit unpredictable, with more rain than average for the season. However, the charming atmosphere of the place and the stunning ocean views more than made up for it. The apartment where I stayed had a breathtaking vantage point overlooking the sea, providing beautiful scenes during the afternoon and evening as the sun dipped below the horizon. Though the weather could have been better, the short two-minute walk down the stairs to the beach and nearby bars allowed for plenty of pleasure despite the occasional rain.
The accommodations themselves were impressive, with thoughtful little touches that made my stay even more comfortable. The apartment was well-located, providing easy access to local amenities and attractions, which I truly appreciated. The provision of cleaning products, pegs, cloths, and a compact hairdryer showed how accommodating the owner was. Marcello, the host, stood out for his warm and welcoming demeanor, promptly addressing any minor issues I encountered with the cooker and shower head. His friendly and attentive nature made the experience much more enjoyable — did I mention he's quite dishy, too? While Olhas de Agua felt a bit small for my taste, I would undoubtedly return to this cozy apartment for the stunning views and exceptional hospitality.
