Borda D'Agua, Praia Da Oura Albufeira

My recent trip to Albufeira, Portugal, was a blend of overwhelming highs and frustrating lows. The accommodation we chose boasted ample space, perfect for our group, and the large outdoor area was a delightful feature. We anticipated sunny afternoons lounging by the pool, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. However, the reality fell short of our expectations, as the pool was ice-cold, making it almost uninviting. The vibrant atmosphere surrounding the property contributed to a noisy environment, which was both a charm and a challenge. While the setting promised relaxation, the loudness often disrupted our moments of tranquility.

Our experience was significantly marred by the discomfort of the beds; they felt as hard as rocks, making it difficult to catch a good night's sleep. Throughout our week-long stay, we found ourselves constantly requesting extra towels and toilet paper, which should have been adequately supplied upon arrival. Such inconveniences added to the mounting frustration we felt about the property. The lack of basic comforts made our trip less enjoyable, impacting our overall mood as we tried to navigate our vacation.

Perhaps the most distressing aspect was the intrusive nature of the property manager, who seemed to scrutinize our every move. Her harassing behavior reached a peak when we experienced delays due to our flight; instead of offering support and understanding, she added to our stress by constantly inquiring about our whereabouts and timetable. This lack of professionalism ultimately overshadowed the positive aspects of our trip to Albufeira. Looking back, while the property's size and outdoor space had potential, the negative experiences we encountered led us to conclude that we would not consider returning for a second visit.
