Penthouse Sea View By Albufeira Holidays

During our recent trip to Albufeira, Portugal, we had a delightful experience exploring the charming old town, although it wasn't without its drawbacks. Our accommodations included a second bedroom that was surprisingly small and lacked air conditioning. Despite having a fan, it didn't adequately alleviate the sweltering heat, which made it uncomfortable for my daughter. As a result, my other child resorted to sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, which did offer some respite thanks to its air conditioning. While the compactness of the room was a bit of a challenge, we managed to make the best of the situation.

On a brighter note, the location of our apartment was nothing short of fantastic. Just a quick five-minute stroll away, we found ourselves immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the old town, filled with an array of bars and restaurants. The accessibility made it easy for us to enjoy dinner out or refresh ourselves with local cocktails without worrying about transportation. An added bonus was the nearby escalator, which I amusingly counted as having 200 steps; it made the journey from the beach back to the apartment less strenuous, especially after a long day of sunbathing and exploration.

One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful balcony, which provided a lovely space to unwind while taking in the stunning views of the beach. It became our little sanctuary, allowing us to soak in the surroundings while enjoying the fresh sea breeze. Remarkably, the noise level at night was low, allowing for peaceful sleep despite being in such a lively area. Overall, although the accommodations had some limitations, the strategic location and serene atmosphere made our trip to Albufeira an enjoyable and memorable one.
